Description

Ferrograd-C Prolonged Release Tablets are formulated to provide a controlled release of iron and vitamin C, essential for the production of red blood cells and the prevention of iron-deficiency anaemia. Each tablet contains 325 mg of dried ferrous sulfate (equivalent to 105 mg of elemental iron) and 500 mg of vitamin C (ascorbic acid), which enhances iron absorption. The prolonged-release mechanism ensures a steady absorption of iron, reducing the likelihood of gastrointestinal side effects.

Warnings

Do not use if you:

  • Have anaemia not caused by iron deficiency.
  • Suffer from intestinal obstruction or diverticular disease.
  • Have a history of iron overload disorders such as haemochromatosis or haemosiderosis.
  • Are receiving repeated blood transfusions.
  • Are already taking other iron supplements.

  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • Experience persistent side effects.

For oral use only:

  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Store in a dry place below 25°C.

Directions

How to use:

  • Swallow one tablet whole with water.
  • Do not chew or crush the tablet.

Frequency:

  • Take one tablet daily before food.

Aftercare:

  • If symptoms persist, consult your doctor.
  • Do not exceed the recommended dose.
