Signs of infection include:
- Redness.
- The area is painful or sensitive.
- The area is hot to touch.
- The skin is broken or weeping.
- A yellow crust on the skin surface or small yellowish-white spots appearing in the area
- The skin becoming swollen and sore
- Feeling hot and shivery and generally feeling unwell

- Kidney or liver problems.
- Heart or blood circulation problems.
- You have had, or plan to have any laser procedure on your skin.
- Parkinson’s disease.
- Blurred vision, eye pain, sensitive to light.
- Oral or vaginal yeast or fungal infection.
- Myasthenia gravis.
- Colitis.
- Oesophageal ulceration or irritation.
- Achlorhydria (a condition causing the absence of acid in the stomach).
- MAO inhibitors (selegiline, moclobemide).
- Antidepressants (imipramine, mirtazapin) ;
- Digoxin, warfarin;
- Blood pressure lowering medication;
- Isotretinoin
- Penicillin antibiotics (such as penicillin, amoxicillin, and flucloxacillin)
- Methoxyflourane (a general anaesthetic)
Providing us with your physician's address means that you allow us to share this information with him/her for updated medical records if need be.
