- Diuretics (‘water’ tablets);


- Other medicines to treat acne or oral retinoids

- You should avoid sunlight and sunlamps while using topical acne treatments.


- You should take care to use sunscreen and cover in protective clothing if sunlight exposure is unavoidable.


- Do not apply acne products to sunburn




Skincare Advice


- Do not wash skin more than twice a day


- Use mild soap or cleanser and luke warm water


- Do not scrub, pick or use exfoliating agents


- Avoid excessive make up and cosmetics. If necessary use a non-comedogenic water based product.


- Use a fragrance free water based emollient if dry skin is a problem
