Please answer the following questions to help us confirm that you'll follow the guidelines for this medicine.
- Porphyria.
- Chronic inflammatory bowel disease (e.g. Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis), Regional enteritis
-History of antibiotic-associated colitis;
-Atopic skin condition;
-Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE);
-Myasthenia gravis (a disease that weakens the muscles)
- You or member of your family have ever suffered from skin cancer
- Medicines to thin your blood (e.g. warfarin);
- Other antibiotics such as penicillin or fluconazole;
- Acitretin, Alitretinoin, Isotretinoin, Tretinoin (acne or psoriasis treatment);
- Diuretics (‘water’ tablets);
- Other medicines to treat acne or oral retinoids
- You should avoid sunlight and sunlamps while using topical acne treatments.
- You should take care to use sunscreen and cover in protective clothing if sunlight exposure is unavoidable.
- Do not apply acne products to sunburn
Skincare Advice
- Do not wash skin more than twice a day
- Use mild soap or cleanser and luke warm water
- Do not scrub, pick or use exfoliating agents
- Avoid excessive make up and cosmetics. If necessary use a non-comedogenic water based product.
- Use a fragrance free water based emollient if dry skin is a problem
