Signs of infection include:
- Redness.
- The area is painful or sensitive.
- The area is hot to touch.
- The skin is broken or weeping.
- A yellow crust on the skin surface or small yellowish-white spots appearing in the eczema
- The skin becoming swollen and sore
- Feeling hot and shivery and generally feeling unwell
Providing us with your physician's address means that you allow us to share this information with him/her for updated medical records if need be. It also allows our clinician to access your medical records if there is a need for that. We advice you share this treatment with your doctor for him/her to update your medical records.
You should not smoke or go near naked flames – risk of severe burns. Fabric (clothing, bedding, dressings etc) that has been in contact with most of these topical product burns more easily and is a serious fire hazard. Washing clothing and bedding may reduce product build-up but not totally remove it.
