Description

Anusol Plus HC Suppositories are specially formulated to treat internal haemorrhoids, providing fast relief from symptoms such as itching, swelling, and discomfort. Each suppository contains hydrocortisone (0.25%) to reduce inflammation and zinc oxide, bismuth oxide, and balsam peru to soothe irritation and promote healing. These suppositories are designed for ease of insertion and offer targeted relief directly where it is needed. Anusol Plus HC Suppositories are ideal for treating internal haemorrhoids and provide long-lasting relief by reducing irritation and supporting the healing process.

Warnings

Do not use if you:

  • Are allergic to hydrocortisone or any other ingredients in the product.
  • Have an infection or severe bleeding in the rectal area without consulting a doctor.

  • Experience persistent symptoms after a week of use or notice signs of infection.

For rectal use only:

  • Avoid contact with eyes and do not ingest the product.

Directions

Suitable for: 

  • Adults over 18 living with internal haemorrhoids
  • Women who are breastfeeding

How to use

  1. Gently clean and dry the anal area.
  2. Pull apart plastic cover and peel back to expose the suppository.
  3. Insert one suppository into the anus at night, in the morning and after each bowel movement.
  4. Do not insert more than three suppositories in one day. Do not use for longer than 7 consecutive days.

 

Ingredients

Active Ingredients:

Hydrocortisone Acetate 10 mg, Zinc Oxide 296 mg, Bismuth Subgallate 59mg, Balsam Peru 49 mg, Benzyl Benzoate 33 mg, Bismuth Oxide 24 mg.

Other Ingredients:

Hard Fat, Kaolin Light.

Side Effects

Possible Side Effects:

  • Mild irritation: Some users may experience slight irritation or discomfort during use.
  • Allergic reactions: Rarely, allergic reactions such as swelling, rash, or itching may occur. Discontinue use and consult a healthcare provider if this happens.
  • Skin thinning: Prolonged use of hydrocortisone may cause thinning of the skin in some cases.
  • Rectal bleeding: If bleeding occurs, stop using the suppositories and consult a healthcare provider immediately.
