Description

Daktarin 2% Miconazole Nitrate Cream 15g contains the active ingredient miconazole nitrate, which works by destroying both the fungus causing the infection and associated bacteria that may be present. This cream is suitable for treating a variety of fungal skin infections such as athlete's foot, dhobie itch (jock itch), intertrigo, and infected nappy rash. It provides relief from itching and discomfort while promoting healing of the affected area.

Warnings

Do not use if you:

  • Are allergic to miconazole nitrate or any other ingredients in the product.

Consult a healthcare provider if you:

For external use only:

  • Avoid contact with eyes.
  • Do not apply to broken or damaged skin.

Directions

How to use:

  • Clean and dry the affected area thoroughly.
  • Apply a small amount of cream to the affected area and surrounding skin.
  • Rub in gently until the cream has been absorbed.

Frequency:

  • Apply twice daily, once in the morning and once at night.
  • Continue treatment for at least 7 days after symptoms have cleared to prevent recurrence.

Aftercare:

  • Wash hands thoroughly after application to prevent the spread of infection.
  • Keep the affected area clean and dry.
