Description

Daktarin Sugar Free Gel 15g contains the active ingredient miconazole, which works by destroying the fungus responsible for infections such as oral thrush. This sugar-free gel has a pleasant orange flavour, making it suitable for both adults and children over 4 months old. It provides targeted treatment by adhering to the affected areas in the mouth and throat, helping to alleviate symptoms like soreness and white patches.

Warnings

Do not use if you:

  • Are allergic to miconazole or any other ingredients in the product.
  • Suffer from liver dysfunction.
  • Are administering to an infant under 4 months of age.

Consult a healthcare provider if you:

  • Are taking medications such as warfarin, oral anticoagulants, or certain antihistamines.
  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • Experience symptoms persisting beyond 7 days of treatment.

Directions

How to use:

  • Apply a small amount of gel to the affected area with a clean finger.
  • For infants and young children, place the gel at the front of the mouth to avoid choking.
  • If wearing dentures, remove them at bedtime and apply the gel to them.

Frequency:

  • Apply four times a day after meals.
  • Continue treatment for up to 7 days after symptoms have cleared.

Aftercare:

  • Maintain oral hygiene to prevent reinfection.
  • Store the gel below 30ºC and keep out of reach of children.

Active ingredients: Miconazole 20 mg per 1 g of gel

Other ingredients: Purified water, pregelatinised potato starch, ethanol, polysorbate 20, sodium saccharin, cocoa flavour, orange flavour, glycerol
