Dulcolax contains bisacodyl, a stimulant laxative that acts directly on the bowel muscles to promote bowel movements. Each gastro-resistant tablet ensures the active ingredient is released in the intestines, minimizing stomach irritation. Suitable for adults and children aged 12 years and over, Dulcolax offers a reliable solution for constipation relief.

Warnings

Do not use if you:

  • Are allergic to bisacodyl or any other ingredients in the product.
  • Suffer from ileus, intestinal obstruction, acute abdominal conditions like appendicitis, acute inflammatory bowel diseases, or severe dehydration.

Consult a healthcare provider if you:

  • Experience sudden changes in bowel habits persisting for more than two weeks.
  • Need to use a laxative daily or for extended periods.
  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Directions

How to use:

  • Swallow tablets whole with water.
  • Do not chew or crush the tablets.
  • Avoid taking within one hour of consuming dairy products or antacids.

Frequency:

  • Adults and children over 12 years: Take one or two tablets at night. Start with one tablet; if necessary, increase to two.

Aftercare:

  • If no bowel movement occurs after use, consult a healthcare professional.
