Description

Ferrograd Tablets are formulated to provide a controlled release of iron, minimising gastrointestinal side effects commonly associated with iron supplements. Each tablet contains 325 mg of dried ferrous sulfate, equivalent to 105 mg of elemental iron, essential for producing red blood cells and preventing iron-deficiency anaemia. The prolonged-release mechanism ensures steady iron absorption, enhancing efficacy and tolerability.

Warnings

Do not use if you:

  • Have anemia not caused by iron deficiency.
  • Suffer from intestinal obstruction or diverticular disease.
  • Have a history of iron overload disorders such as hemochromatosis or hemosiderosis.
  • Are receiving repeated blood transfusions.
  • Are already taking other iron supplements.

For oral use only:

  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Store in a dry place below 25°C.

Directions

How to use:

  • Swallow one tablet whole with water.
  • Do not chew or crush the tablet.

Frequency:

  • Take one tablet daily before food.

  • Do not exceed the recommended dose.
