Naprosyn 250mg Tablets is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that works by reducing the hormones that cause pain and inflammation in the body. It does this by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins, which are hormones that play a role in pain and inflammation. By reducing the production of prostaglandins, Naprosyn relieves the body of any pain caused by inflammation. What Does Naprosyn treat? Warnings

Naprosyn can increase your risk of fatal heart attack or stroke, especially if you use it long term or take high doses, or if you have heart disease. Do not use this medicine just before or after heart surgery. Do not take Naprosyn if you have a kidney, liver, stomach or gut problem. Do not use Naprosyn without your doctor’s approval if you have a blood clot problem or an autoimmune disease. You must inform your doctor of any prescription medication you may be using, before taking Naprosyn. Avoid driving or operating heavy machinery when taking Naprosyn because it can make you dizzy. Do not use Naprosyn when pregnant or breastfeeding status without informing your doctor.

Directions

Naprosyn should be used exactly as directed by the doctor. When self-medicating, you can read the information provided on the package leaflet. Naprosyn is specifically for use by adults and children over the age of 16. Naprosyn tablets are intended for oral use only. Naprosyn can be taken with or without food. If you have stomach upset, you may take Naprosyn with food. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible unless it is almost time for the next dose. In that case, do not take the missed dose; just return to your regular schedule.
